The heroic gesture of Mamoudou Gassama, who saved a child hanging from the top of a building, touched Jay-Z who decided to write a huge check to the young man.
Mamoudou Gassama climbed a building in the 18th arrondissement of Paris with his bare hands. A four-year-old child was hanging in the air and could have fallen to his death if no one intervened. He was able to save the child and became a national and even international hero.
The video of his heroic act made the rounds on social networks, touching many celebrities such as Naomi Campbell, Diddy and Rihanna. The latter was delighted to see that this undocumented Malian had become French thanks to Emmanuel Macron. The President of the Republic also promised the 22-year-old to find him a job in a fire station, his dream.

The dream continues for Mamoudou Gassama. On Sunday 24 June, he was invited to the BET Awards ceremony in Los Angeles to collect an award.
But the “French Spiderman” would have had much more than a trophy. Indeed, Public magazine reports on its website that according to a source close to Jay-Z, the rapper gave him a cheque for 100,000 euros in the greatest discretion.
