It seems that a new posthumous Pop Smoke album is on the way. The project has already been mentioned in the past and has been brought up again by the manager of the star who died last year.
New releases from Pop Smoke to come
The manager of the late Brooklyn rapper, Steven Victor, has made it clear that a new Pop Smoke (and also Pusha-T) album is on the cards on social media. The man sent out a tweet leaving little room for doubt. The message is short, but hints at an imminent official announcement: “POP SMOKE ALBUM”, accompanied by a series of flame emojis. As mentioned above, this is not the first time Victor has teased an unreleased Smoke LP. Fans are expecting a release on the star’s birthday, July 20th.
Fifty passes its turn
Also, last month, another of Pop Smoke’s managers, Rico Beats, gave great hope to fans of the broken prodigy: “I see and hear everything, don’t worry, it’s coming, the new Pop Smoke album is loading…”
One thing seems to be almost certain about this album: 50 Cent will not be involved. Very involved on the hit Shoot for the Stars Aim for the Moon, Fifty should skip it this time: “Steven [Victor] was Pop’s manager and the one who signed him. He told me about a new album, and I’m not sure if I’m going to be involved in that project.”
